Snowdonia Wedding & Elopement Photography
Why choose an elopement wedding?
Maybe you’ve been together for quite some time now. You know you’re meant to be together and you definitely want to get married one of these days. Maybe, like Ian & Magda’s family, your friends & families are spread across different parts of the world and bringing everyone together for a Welsh elopement – especially during COVID-19 times – is a bit of a challenge and you also worry about that a little bit. But you DO want to commit to each other and you know you want to do it somewhere beautiful & super scenic.
Why elope in Snowdonia?
Ian & Magda live in Scotland and love hiking. Combining a weekend in Wales with getting hitched in a small and intimate way with just Magda’s brother and his family by their side felt right and so special for both of them.
The whole day was just full of happy & joyful real moments. Their ceremony was intimate, relaxed and a whole lot of fun! Being fortunate enough to capture the magic of Ian & Magda’s day and a trip to Snowdonia to photograph their Welsh Elopement was such a privilege and I’m so glad we managed to make great memories of a perfect day!
Top tip: when thinking about how you’d like your day to be captured, make sure you find a photographer whose work and style of photography really speaks to you and that you can see yourself in their pictures.
If you’re considering an elopement there really is nowhere more charming than Snowdonia and its absolutely incredible scenery!
Ian & Magda and their family stayed at the St. George’s Hotel Llandundno. They had a lovely ceremony at Llandudno Town Hall. After a few pictures in Llandudno we headed into Snowdonia National Park and spent a few unforgettable hours there.
