Tyn Dwr Hall Wedding Photographer
I have wanted to be a Tyn Dwr Hall Wedding Photographer for quite some time. I often collaborate with other photographers and am always happy to travel to beautiful venues across the whole of the UK. But I definitely think here in North Wales we have some of the most stunning venues around. So when I heard from Lisa (who is now based near Birmingham) that she was looking for a North Wales based Tyn Dwr Wedding Photographer to assist on one of her weddings I absolutely jumped at the chance. If you have not heard of it (where have you been?!) – Tyn Dwr Hall is a beautiful country wedding hall tucked away in the gorgeous countryside just outside of Llangollen in North Wales.
I met the groom Heflin at their house early in the morning to grab some shots of him and his groomsmen getting ready. To be honest – they were more interested in the rugby (Welsh guys, eh!?) than me. But I didn’t mind hovering around and grabbing some of the good stuff. We said hiiii to the horses behind the house. Then I remember looking for car keys for quite some time. But I can’t honestly remember whether we found them or not.
Anyway. Before we knew it it was time to set off to the hall where we were to meet their guests and jump aboard 2 red Chester coaches. What a hoot that was! Tyn Dwr Hall is located at the end of narrow windy roads so you might appreciate it wasn’t the easiest of tasks to get 2 massive busses down the road. We enjoyed the seriously stunning views of our neighbourhood along the way and soon found ourselves at a lovely and quaint chapel not far from Ruabon. A Welsh male choir was singing before and during their beautiful service and if you’ve never heard a Welsh choir at a wedding – it sends shivers up your spine, trust me! After the ceremony we headed back to the Hall for some serious partying.
Much love to the gorgeous Lisa from Lisa Carpenter Photography for having me along xoxo
