Pre-wedding shoot at the base of Snowdon

Snowdon, or Yr Wyddfa in Welsh, is the highest mountain in Wales and one of its most famous and recognisable landmarks. Six different paths enable walkers and climbers of all ability levels to conquer this 1,085 m giant. It’s the most stunning backdrop for pre-wedding photographs – just make sure you pick a local wedding photographer in Wales who knows how to

My style of wedding photography is natural, romantic and a tad arty – perfect for pre-wedding photography in the UK! Spend just a few hours in one of the UK’s last remaining true wildernesses or a full day exploring the mountains! Snowdonia is only 1.5 hours from Manchester or Liverpool airport and easily accessible by car. There are plenty of super romantic love shacks and scenic Air BnB’s around and if you want to get glammed up and have your hair & make-up done – I’m happy to point you in the right direction for some awesome local suppliers.

Thinking of hiking up Snowdon?

Pick a route that suits your fitness level.

It’s no fun stumbling across unfamiliar territory exhausted and you may well be putting yourself in danger.

Stick to your planned route.

Don’t just follow others ahead of you. They may end up on a route that’s not suitable for your fitness level.

Make sure your boots are comfortable.

And suitable for the terrain. Sounds obvious, right?!

Take a rucksack.

Bring plenty of food and drink plus all the equipment you think you may need. The weather can change in an instant so make sure you’re prepared.

Check the weather forecast!

If it deteriorates during your walk round – turn back.

Tell someone reliable which way you’re going up.

And don’t forget to let them know if you change your plans so that they can raise the alarm if needed.
