I cover Eryri (Snowdonia), the largest National Park in Wales. Imagine ruggedly charming mountains, serene lakes, and hidden trails that seem straight out of a fairy tale. It’s a breathtaking location that draws couples from all over the world, and it could be the backdrop to your love story, too. It’s only a small but truly charming country here in the UK and home to roughly 26,000 people; a truly magical place and I regularly photograph weddings, elopements, and couples from all over Asia, the US, and other countries here.

Snowdonia is only 1.5 hours from Manchester or Liverpool airport and easily accessible by car. There are plenty of super romantic love shacks and scenic Air BnB’s around and if you want to get glammed up and have your hair & make-up done – I’m happy to point you in the right direction for some awesome local suppliers.

When is the best time to book your pre-wedding adventure shoot in Wales?
Temperatures in Wales are pretty mild from late April right up to late August. During the winter months, we can often experience more than 50 days of rain but don’t let that stop you from booking a pre-wedding photography shoot! Dramatic weather such as heavy rain, strong winds, and even snow makes for beautiful and super dramatic photography. Snowdonia is a popular holiday destination in the UK and from June to August things can get a little bit busy here so you’d probably need to book accommodation well in advance if you’re considering staying here for a few days.
What to wear for your pre-wedding photography session?
This bit really does not need to be tricky – just think about how you’d like to look on your photographs. If you want to go all out and dress up, have professional make-up, maybe have your hair done – do it. Or if you prefer to look like you do pretty much every day – do that instead. It’s really important to feel good about yourself on your pre-wedding photoshoot in the UK so if you’re wearing something you don’t usually wear and it’s making you feel uncomfortable or awkward or super conscious about yourself – don’t wear it.
