Your celebration will fly by in the blink of an eye – the story of your day, photographed naturally and true to life.

Hi, I’m Babs – a wedding photographer drawn to real connection and the kind of moments you can’t plan or stage. The true beauty of North Wales isn’t just found in the dramatic landscapes, but in the energy between people – the emotion, the movement, the pure joy that happens when everyone feels free to just be themselves.

I photograph weddings of all shapes and sizes, from wild elopements in the hills to full-day celebrations at home, in a marquee or tipi by the sea and natural spaces overlooking the glorious Welsh mountains. My approach is rooted in storytelling – intuitive, observant, and always centred on what’s real. No awkward posing, no staged smiles – just honest, expressive images that show how it all felt.

“Natural. Emotional. Real.”

Planning your wedding can feel like a bit of a blur – so many decisions, so much inspiration, and the quiet pressure to get everything just right. Choosing a photographer is a big part of that. You’re probably looking for someone who won’t just take nice photos, but who really understands what matters to you. Someone who won’t make you pose all day or turn your wedding into a photoshoot. You might be wondering if you’ll feel awkward in front of the camera, or if the small, meaningful moments will even be noticed. And that’s where I think I shine. My approach is quiet and thoughtful – I listen, I observe, and I document your day as it happens. Naturally. The real stuff. The good stuff. So when you look back at your photos, they’ll feel like you.

“She wasn’t pushy, she didn’t make everyone pose – everything was natural and candid, just as we wanted it to be. She was friendly and chatty with my friends and family – they couldn’t speak more highly of her and she’s often an extremely positive talking point of the success of our day.”

“The photos are incredibly beautiful and such a special reminder of our day! As two people who aren’t always comfortable in front of a camera, Babs made the whole day so relaxed and easy and captured some really special memories for us. I never imagined we’d get this kind of photos!”

“No awkward posing! We had great fun and each smile was genuine.”

“As soon as I found Babs on Instagram, I knew that she had to be a part of our day. The natural, candid, genuine moments she has captured throughout our day are memories I will cherish forever.”

“You’re so amazing at showing genuine emotion – all your photographs look like small little windows into the story.”

You’ll want to remember every laugh, every tear, and every little detail of your day.

Choosing the right photographer should feel like a quiet sigh of relief – one of those big, important decisions sorted. I work in a story-telling style and don’t interrupt the natural flow of your wedding story – quietly observing everything that happens and capturing it just as it is: real, unposed, full of feeling. From early morning nerves to saying your vows and laughter shared over drinks, everything is documented with care. I shoot digitally, and I’ll also bring along my vintage film camera to add a few nostalgic vibes to the mix. Most of the couples I work with gather their circle of loved ones in beautiful, natural places across Wales, and when circumstances allow, I’ll capture it all from above too – because those wide-open views deserve their own moment. You won’t need to perform for the camera or worry about how things look. You’ll simply be there, living it, while I quietly preserve your story.

I’m here for you if you’re a couple looking for a photographer who doesn’t just take good photos, but actually gets it. You’re not after a styled shoot or a long list of staged moments. You want someone who intuitively feels & sees what matters. Someone who’ll document your wedding day as it really is – honest, personal, and full of quiet emotion – without turning one of the most important days in your lives into an enforced spectacle.

And that’s exactly why I do things differently. I work in a reportage style – gently, attentively, and always with respect for your personality, your personal space and your connection. That means no awkward posing, no forced smiles, and no pulling you away from the moment. Whether we’re hiking up a hillside at sunrise or you’re exchanging vows in your living room, I quietly observe and document what naturally happens in front of my camera. It’s all about real emotion, real moments, and telling the full story of your day as it truly felt. If you want to feel relaxed, seen, and completely free to be yourselves – I’m your person.
