Ian & Magda’s Welsh Elopement

Snowdonia Wedding Photography

Thinking about a totally different wedding adventure that’s completely yours? Not sure what that’d look like though? Well. Let me help you! Feast your eyes on Ian & Magda’s Welsh elopement!

When Magda first emailed me back in February I had absolutely no idea their day would turn into this dream mini wedding adventure! Fastforward 5 months and the sun was out and Llandudno’s coastline looked absolutely stunning for this pair’s Welsh Elopement! The excitement in the air was infectious as I joined the girls for bridal prep at the St. George’s Hotel Llandundno and I loved spending time with them. Before we knew it we were on our way to the Register Office where just the 5 of us  watched the couple exchange their vows in a lovely and intimate setting. If you want to see the first part of Ian & Magda’s Welsh Elopement head on over to their Llandudno Pier Wedding.

Welsh Elopement

There was time for photos and confetti before a gentle stroll to the seafront. Ian & Magda wanted their wedding day to be relaxed and authentic; they both love the great outdoors and wanted to make unforgettable memories. And so just a short while after their ceremony we headed to Snowdonia for the second part of their elopement extravaganza.

What greeted us after an hour’s drive was heavy rain. The kind of heavy rain that brings with it zero views. We decided to sit it out in the car for a short while which gave the couple enough time to graze on some muesli bars and put on their walking boots! Lovely Magda didn’t care that her dress got muddy, that her hair got wet, that she was roaming around in big safe walking boots – she was smiling throughout! And I loved that they felt strongly about doing things just the way they wanted to on their wedding day! Things got pretty exciting once the rain changed from heavy to drizzle and it was then that we decided to head out. It was pretty frigging amazing!!! But don’t just take my word for it – here are some of their highlights!

Currently planning your own wedding adventure that’s completely YOU? I will be adding humanist outdoor ceremonies to my packages for 2020. These will include everything from epic Welsh locations (for some truly stunning wedding pictures) to humanists and vendor recommendations so do get in touch to find out more!! #createyourownepicweddingadventure
