Engagement Photo Session in Snowdonia
Beth thought she’d won an adventure couple photography session in Snowdonia. What she didn’t know – Jacob had plans to turn the session into a romantic surprise proposal in the mountains!

To capture the magic of this romantic proposal I remembered a dog walk I’d once been on. I’d come across this super scenic location overlooking one of Snowdonia’s pretty mountain ranges. I remembered thinking about how much I’d love to photograph a romantic proposal there. I was not able to communicate with Jacob directly as he works away a lot. Good job his sister stepped in and volunteered to pass on my messages. So when it was time to surprise Beth with this romantic proposal in the mountains, I met the couple on location and we just headed out for a little walk and I started to take a couple of photos of them. Being about to propose sure is nerve-racking and super exciting at the same time and I definitely noticed that Jacob was a tad nervous haha. He seemed to not want to take his hand out of the pocket in which he had secretly placed the ring box. As captain of the Sale Sharks Woman’s Rugby Team, Beth had played and won a game of rugby with her team the day before the proposal and had actually broken her ring finger which I think we laughed & joked about on the way up.
