If you’re looking for a historic and romantic venue in North Wales with endless opportunities for gorgeous wedding photography – they don’t come any better than Gwydir Castle! It is a beautiful Tudor mansion sensitively restored and rescued from ruin by its owners.
Gwydir Castle Wedding Photography
Set in 10 acres, Gwydir’s sweeping views and formal vistas make it one of the most romantic gardens in Wales – an absolute dream for wedding photographers based in North Wales. Peacocks roam freely and were introduced to the gardens in 1828. Situated in the foothills of Snowdonia, Gwydir Castle is perfectly situated for a romantic and thoroughly enjoyable ceremony in North Wales and beautiful wedding photography. You’ll find it in the Conwy Valley, just three miles from Betws-y-Coed and close to the historic market town of Llanrwst. Contact the owners for a private viewing of this magnificent Welsh building, then make contact with the Registrar of the Aberconwy District at the Town Hall in Llandudno to firm up arrangements.
Get in touch if you love the look of this beautiful country house. And if you’re currently looking for a North Wales-based Wedding Photographer – I would love to photograph your beautiful wedding day!

I’m a Wedding & Elopement Photographer based in glorious North Wales. My wedding and elopement photography style is authentic, romantic, a little adventurous. It’s also a tad arty – perfect for Gwydir Castle Wedding Photography! I am, of course, happy to work with anyone! But I find I work best with couples that LOVE a super scenic venue like Gwydir Castle.
