Due to get married at the stunning Talhenbont Hall in April, Vicki & Stephen – like so many other Covid couples – had to abandon their original plan and ended up with an elopement style wedding at Llandudno Town Hall.
The sun shone when I caught up with the couple outside Vicki’s parents’ house in Colwyn Bay from where we set off in three different cars to Llandudno Town Hall.

Due to super strict COVID restrictions, we all had to socially distance as soon as we entered Llandudno Town Hall and the couple chose to spend their intimate elopement style wedding day with their parents and Stephen’s sister. As a first for me, I was allocated a chair to sit on during the ceremony (I usually stand) and wasn’t allowed to move around which was pretty weird. We all had to wear masks that the couple was allowed to take off during their vows and their first kiss. Their small wedding ceremony was emotional, heartfelt and – for various reasons – a little dramatic and I found myself feeling a little sad but mainly ridiculously happy for them – married at last!

After the ceremony we had some fun with confetti before their parents headed home and the couple and I spent time together on a beautiful beach and took some super relaxed wedding photographs.
If you’re planning a small elopement style wedding at Llandudno Town Hall – get in touch! I’d love to photograph another beautiful wedding day like Vicki & Stephen’s here or Iain & Magda’s pre-Covid one!
