Newborough Beach pre-wedding adventure

Alex & Katie’s Newborough Beach pre-wedding mini adventure

This week you’ll find me catching up on highlights, galleries and all things blog. So let’s kick this off with Alex & Katie’s Newborough Beach pre-wedding mini adventure.

We met on a beautiful weekday evening on Newborough Beach, one of the most beautiful & popular beaches on the isle of Anglesey. Also known as Traeth Llanddwyn, Newborough Beach is about 3.5 mile long and super sandy.  At the far end of the beach you’ll find Llanddwyn Island with breathtakingly beautiful views over Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula. And that’s exactly where we were headed that day.

I absolutely loved spending time with them both! We talked about their upcoming wedding and all their exciting plans. When they first contacted me I asked if they fancied a dip in the water and luckily for me – they did! So I brought some sparklers along and watched them have some fun in the sea, happy days.

Gimme a shout if you’re up for your very own Anglesey Adventure – this can be for an upcoming anniversary, your pre-wedding shoot or just for fun, you don’t always need an occasion to capture some magical moments!

Babs xoxo

I’m a Cheshire, North Wales, Anglesey, Snowdonia & Shropshire Wedding Photographer based near Llangollen in North Wales. My style is natural, relaxed and emotive and most couples that book me are laid-back and want their wedding photographer to fit in with their exciting plans without being bossy. If you like my work and would like to discuss how I can help with your wedding photographer you can contact me here.

Denbigh Wedding Photographer There's something about a glorious sunset in the hills that I just keep coming back for. Being a Denbigh Wedding Photographer and living not far from Llangollen makes it easy for me to pop into our glorious hills every single day. And our dogs sure love exploring!! Beautiful pre-wedding photos by a Denbigh Wedding Photographer My husband is a full team member of our local Search & Rescue Team and so I've done a fair bit of walking in this stunningly beautiful area. And I'm always keen to give my couples a bit of a mini adventure. When I first spoke to Sue and she mentioned their humanist wedding ceremony I ...

Snowdonia Wedding Photographer at Cwm Idwal If like me, you're a Snowdonia Wedding Photographer then there really aren't many things higher on your picture bucket list than shooting at Cwm Idwal!  Snowdonia Wedding Photographer I met Sammy & Shane at the Ogwen Partnership Centre just before sunset one Friday evening. We then went on a leisurely stroll around Cwm Idwal and to the lake. Like most couples, Sammy & Shane pointed out that they are not comfortable in front of the camera. I wanted them to relax a little so we just walked, talked, stopped, looked at things and laughed. Easy peasy. Pre-wedding adventure shoots needn't be sc ...

Pre-Wedding Shoot in the hills of North Wales
Pre-Wedding Shoot in the hills of North Wales Considering they are my fittest couple to marry this year, things got off to a somewhat slow start for this pre-wedding shoot in the hills of North Wales. There'd been a road accident and so I had to go on a 45-minute diversion. While I normally enjoy spending a full sunset with my couple, by the time I finally got to our destination the sun was already pretty low down. Luckily, Steve & Claire were happy to wait for me and so we were able to spend some time together while talking about their exciting wedding plans and getting used to being comfortable in front of the camera. They both enjo ...
