Traeth Llanddwyn pre-wedding adventure
Alex & Katie have very fond memories of Anglesey and travelled to their Newborough Beach pre-wedding Adventure Couple Session from Suffolk. We didn’t really have a plan other than have some fun on the beach and roam around Newborough Forest. Hoping they’d be up for *a bit extra* – I put some sparklers in my bag.
Also known as Traeth Llanddwyn, Newborough Beach is about 3.5 mile long and super sandy. At the far end of the beach you’ll find Llanddwyn Island with breathtakingly beautiful views over Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula. And that’s exactly where we were headed that day.
Anglesey Wedding Photographer
Newborough Forest was established between 1940 and the early 1970s when about 700 hectares of predominantly Corsican Pine were established. We walked through the Newborough Warren and the sand dunes backing both Llanddwyn and Newborough beaches and chatted about how they met before we started our adventure couple session.
These are some of my favourite pictures from this Newborough Beach session, get in touch if you’d like to create your very own Welsh mini adventure – this can be for an upcoming anniversary, your pre-wedding shoot or just for fun, you don’t always need an occasion to capture some magical moments!
