You can find Bala, the location for this beautiful post-wedding session, in the historic county of Merionethshire, at the north end of Bala Lake. The stunning lake, or Llyn Tegid in Welsh, is the biggest natural lake in Wales. It’s an important home for the rare ‘gwyniad’ fish. What’s so special about this fish I hear you ask. Well, apparently it became trapped in the lake at the end of the last Ice age, some 10,000 years ago. And now it is only found in Llyn Tegid. That’s pretty big news for a humble little fish, right!? :)
