Wedding Photography

Love being a Wild Pheasant Hotel Wedding Photographer!

I first met the lovely Shane & Sammy over a quick drink on a beautiful sunny day at the Cornmill in Llangollen. Sam told me that they had been let down by another Wild Pheasant Hotel Wedding Photographer. Sadly, they lost their deposit. Unfortunately, that was not the first time I’d heard of a couple being let down. Luckily for Shane & Sammy, I still had availability on their chosen date. The rest, as the saying goes, is history!

We next met on a beautiful Friday evening in July for their pre-wedding mini adventure around Cwm Idwal in Snowdonia. You can see more of that by clicking here. I love adventurous couples that trust me without knowing what to expect! After our pre-wedding shoot, I knew I’d be in for a lot of fun as their Wild Pheasant Hotel Wedding Photographer!

Their fun filled relaxed wedding day started with the groom & bride getting ready at the Wild Pheasant Hotel in Llangollen. Bridal prep is always one of my favourite times of any wedding day. Even more so with a bunch of super nice & funny Welsh girls! It was nice to see them all having a hoot together and I must say Sammy looked absolutely stunning in her Britney Platinum Dress!

The ceremony was lovely. Having waited a long long time to finally get his beautiful bride down the aisle, Shane might have been a tad excited as he shouted out YESSS before the registrar had even finished her sentence ;) :) :)

Following their ceremony and drinks reception, we headed off to the neighbouring field for some relaxed couple portraits. I might have been pushing my luck a little asking the bride to cross a barb wire fence but Sammy took it all in her stride and with the help of Shane and a couple of other strong men she was across it in no time at all. We spent the afternoon listening to some really funny speeches, had some fun with the group shots and then Sammy & Shane just mingled with their nice friends & families until it was time for their first dance.

It was an absolute pleasure to be their Wild Pheasant Wedding Photographer and probably the first (and perhaps only!) time that things ran according to plan. Something tells me Sammy being a manager in the catering industry has something to do with that!

Here’s to a lifetime of love & happiness Mr. & Mrs. Jones – couldn’t have asked for a more laid-back & fun couple! Thanks for picking me as your Wild Pheasant Wedding Photographer xoxo

Liverpool Wedding Photographer My first wedding of  2018 was also my first time as a Jury Inn Liverpool Wedding Photographer. I could not have asked for a nicer couple! Adam & Emily are so much in love and really cute together. We had initially only communicated via Messenger and had met in person for the first time 2 weeks before their wedding for their pre-wedding shoot in our beautiful Welsh hills. Spending a couple of hours with them gave me a chance to get to know them a little better. It's obvious they love each other as they could not stop looking at each other and touching and kissing each other. I think they pretty much held han ...

Luke and Lorna's relaxed Cheshire Wedding For Luke and Lorna's relaxed wedding day I crossed the border and made my way from North Wales to Cheshire. The couple wanted a relaxed wedding with their nearest and dearest and decided on a hotel by the canal for their family-oriented wedding day in Cheshire. They kept their decorations rustic and used jars with flowers on wooden slabs to decorate their tables. Lorna put brooches in the bouquets and on the cake. She decorated the cake table with heirloom family wedding pictures which I absolutely loved! Not your average Anglesey Wedding Photographer My style is natural, relaxed and emotive and really lends itself to being an Anglesey Wedding Photographer. As a storytelling Wedding Photographer based in North Wales, spending time on Anglesey is always fun. Storytelling Wedding Photography When we first started talking about their wedding plans, both Andy & Amy got super excited when I suggested going to Anglesey for their pre-wedding shoot. Like most couples that book me as their Anglesey Wedding Photographer, Andy & Amy have a real passion for the great outdoors. We could have nipped to Snowdonia for their pre-wedding shoot. But a ...
