Wedding Photographer in North Wales

Can’t wait to be Max & Sam’s Wedding Photographer in North Wales! Max is originally from North Wales and Sam is from the US. At this moment in time they are for sure the most exotic couple on my books! Not only do they live in Thailand (exotic score: pretty high!) but they also research venomous Cobras which is not only off the scale exotic but also pretty cool, right!? You can follow some of their snake rescues and research over on Max’s Facebook page.

Max & Sam’s pre-wedding mini adventure

For their pre-wedding mini adventure I shlepped them to some of my favourite spots right in our own neighbourhood. And even though it was super windy & freezing cold on the day we met for their pre-wedding shoot, they were both super relaxed if not a tad cold and windblown at times 😉 They are getting married at the stunning Llyn Gwynant campsite in Snowdonia this summer. To say I’m excited about returning to one of my absolute favourite North Wales Wedding venues is definitely a bit of an understatement. Especially as I get to shoot there not once but twice this year. Happy days.

Some of Sam’s family will be travelling to North Wales all the way from America. I’m not sure if they’ve ever been to North Wales before but I really can’t think of a more breathtaking spot to watch Sam & Max get married and I’m super excited to meet them all! I’m pretty sure North Wales and its romantic wilderness, charming ruggedness, and dramatic and beautiful moodiness will not disappoint! And hey guys – if any of Sam’s relatives are reading this right now – head on over to one of my previous blog posts in which I wrote about some Welsh Wedding Traditions which you may find interesting 🙂

Back to Max & Sam. Respect for not only letting me put you in windy, freezing spots without whinging once. But also for incorporating an impromptu outfit change involving taking most of your clothes off in the middle of freezing nowhere! And battling with a sub-standard cheap lighter in storm-like conditions to get those sparklers going 😉 Can’t wait to see you again and share your special Llyn Gwynant wedding day with you!

Anyone else looking for heartfelt wedding photography and/or a Wedding Photographer in North Wales – get in touch, would love to help! xoxo

Snowdonia Wedding Photographer THE COUPLE I proper love being a Snowdonia Wedding Photographer so when we talked about where to go for their pre-wedding shoot, Snowdonia seemed the obvious choice. This shoot was originally scheduled to take place on a Sunday morning but both Ash & Adam kept an eager eye on the super important weather forecast. When they discovered there was a chance of rain for the Sunday morning they spontaneously asked for it to be brought forward. I love it when my couples feel passionate about their pre-wedding shoot and so of course I happily rescheduled and met with them at this beautiful location only a few hours ...

North Wales pre-wedding adventure
North Wales pre-wedding adventure around LlangollenAdam & Hannah are having their special at the the Vale Country Club, a family run business in the heart of the vale of Clwyd, in early May. For their North Wales pre-wedding adventure we headed to the hills above Llangollen. As a North Wales Wedding Photographer I know I can't always trust our temperamental Welsh weather. When we headed up the hill the light was glorious. But the higher we went the more overcast & windy it became and unfortunately we did not end up with the sunset I had hoped for.Still. It's pretty much impossible to have a bad time in our h ...
