Vale Country Club Wedding Photographer

Vale Country Club Wedding Photographer, Ruthin, North Wales

Iain & Becky’s intimate wedding at the Vale Country Club in Ruthin

Having previously been at this stunning venue as a guest, I’d been wanting to photograph at the Vale Country Club in Ruthin for ages. I was so, so pleased when Iain and Becky asked me to be their North Wales Wedding Photographer at this gem of a venue! Both Iain & Becky are members of NEWSAR, our local Search & Rescue Team and were planning on having an intimate wedding in the country. Both started the day getting ready at home before making their separate ways to the Mold Register Office for their legal ceremony.

After their ceremony, which was full of laughter, love and emotions, we headed off to their reception venue in the Clwydian Range, an Area of Outstanding Beauty in North Wales. It had started to rain which made the Welsh hills look super atmospheric. I asked Iain & Becky to hang back a little with me to get some natural portraits incorporating the stunning scenery. And some umbrellas :) The Vale Country Club is run by an awesome team, they really can’t do enough for their guest and we even managed to borrow some wellies for Becky so that she could wade through the wet long grass without having to worry about her shoes. 10 out of 10 for effort! We set up some relaxed family portraits straight after their little alone time and then headed inside for their reception.

Iain and Becky had laid on an intimate and super relaxed tea party for their guests and once everyone had enjoyed a bite to eat and some drinks we went back outside for more pictures. A super cute couple and I had such fun on their beautiful wedding day!

Here are some of my favourite photos from Iain & Becky’s Vale Country Club wedding xoxo

Hazlewood Castle Wedding Photographer I had never been at this particular venue before but it turned out as lovely as I had hoped it would. Being a Hazlewood Castle Wedding Photographer is definitely fun! Bridal prep First things first though. We had to get up super early to be at Tom's place (in Yorkshire) for an 8:00 am start.....not so much fun. I'm the kind of person that snoozes the alarm about 50,000 times and then promptly sleeps in. Still. I spent about half an hour watching Tom and his groomsmen get dressed. Then we headed outside for some group shots. By the time I took pictures of the rings there, I think Tom was beginning t ...

Tyn Dwr Hall Wedding Photographer I have wanted to be a Tyn Dwr Hall Wedding Photographer for quite some time. I often collaborate with other photographers and am always happy to travel to beautiful venues across the whole of the UK. But I definitely think here in North Wales we have some of the most stunning venues around. So when I heard from Lisa (who is now based near Birmingham) that she was looking for a North Wales based Tyn Dwr Wedding Photographer to assist on one of her weddings I absolutely jumped at the chance. If you have not heard of it (where have you been?!) - Tyn Dwr Hall is a beautiful country wedding hall tucked away in th ...
