Gwydir Castle Wedding Photographer
Nicole & Karl decided on 3 different venues for their wedding day and made some brilliant choices which made it an absolute pleasure to be their The Quay Hotel Wedding Photographer.
We started the day with bridal prep at the beautiful The Quay Hotel in Deganwy. No matter which room you’re in the views across the estuary and towards Conwy castle are breathtakingly stunning! A bit like Nicole, the bride x
Nicole really did look like a real life princess and once in her fairytale dress and wearing her glamorous Jimmy Choo heels we made our way to Gwydir Castle in Conwy where the wedding ceremony took place.
The early Tudor ground-floor hall can be hired for the ceremony and Nicole & Karl also opted for a champagne reception in the castle’s grounds. The hall has open log fires and candles which make it an exceptionally romantic and atmospheric venue. After the ceremony we headed out to explore the ten acre gardens for some portraits.
On our way back to The Quay Hotel in Deganwy, their reception venue, we briefly stopped off at Conwy Castle for some more portraits. One little girl even stopped Nicole and asked if she was a real princess which was very sweet!
Back at The Quay Hotel the couple sat down for their wedding breakfast with their friends & family followed by some very funny and touching speeches from Nicole’s dad, Karl and his best man.
They started off their evening entertainment with a bang (literally!) by treating their guests to fireworks. It was then time to head back in for the traditional cutting of the cake and to cut some shapes on that dance floor.
If you are getting married at Gwydir Castle or The Quay Hotel in Conwy do get in touch, would love to be your The Quay Hotel Wedding Photographer!
