Wedding Photography at Stirk House in Gisburn, Lancashire

Stirk House looked absolutely wonderful at Christmas time. I loved being a Stirk House Wedding Photographer for Phil & Jo’s wedding and we even had a dusting of snow. Unfortunately it didn’t last all day but it sure looked super romantic while it did ;)

Loved being Phil & Jo’s Lancashire Wedding Photographer!

Being a Natural Wedding Photographer is an absolutely pleasure! Stirk House is right in the center of  a 22-acre patch of glorious Lancashire countryside. It’s just a stone’s throw away from the famous Pendle Hill. And it’s the perfect setting for your Stirk House Wedding Photographer to take beautiful shots and for you and your families to relax before the big day. Or to unwind in relaxing surroundings afterwards. You could even take a walk along the nature trail or explore further into the awe- inspiring Ribble Valley countryside. Beautiful!

From the picturesque rolling hills during the day, to the breathtaking sparkling tree at night. As a Stirk House Wedding Photographer I was able to capture their precious first moments as a newly married couple in the most enchanting setting.

The couple had a very relaxed day with friends and family. As soon as I entered the newly refurbished bridal suite where Jo, the bride, and her bridesmaids were getting ready I knew we were in for a fun day! There was a lot going on and I loved how relaxed they all were! It gave me a chance to get amongst it all and get some great shots almost without getting noticed.

Phil & Jo’s ceremony was beautiful and full of emotions. It was an absolute honour to be their Stirk House Wedding Photographer and I’ll be having a little giggle about their little boy trying to blow out the candles during their ceremony for many more years to come.

After the ceremony it seemed like Phil & Jo’s days of hard work of putting together their special day were over as it was finally time to celebrate!

Stirk House is a simply magnificent wedding venue! It’s perfect for all those wedding traditions like cutting your cake and having your first dance as husband and wife in front of all your friends and family.

Summer Weddings at Stirk House

If you are planning a summer wedding make sure you ask the Stirk House wedding team about holding your celebration outside in the grounds as it’s absolutely stunning.

A beautiful wedding at The Gwenfrewi Project When Rebecca first emailed me she casually mentioned they were having a beautiful wedding at The Gwenfrewi Project. I had absolutely no idea where or what it was. A quick search on Google and I discovered it's a magnificent ex-church now owned by the lovely Alison. It's a civil ceremony venue and also aims to provide a platform for the arts. It's that combination that got me super excited!! Turns out I love The Gwenfrewi Project so much it's currently occupying the top spot of My favourite wedding venues in North Wales! Lovely day for a Liverpool Wedding Photographer When Kym and Danny first started looking for a Liverpool Wedding Photographer they were originally planning a much bigger wedding. They then found and fell in love with their dream house. That prompted them to have a smaller wedding instead. I loved their infectious happiness and beaming smiles right from when we first met! For their pre-wedding shoot the couple and 3 of their 4 gorgeous children hung out by the Chainbridge Hotel in Llangollen. There was lots of excitement in the air as it was not long before their wedding day. Natural Wedding Photographer in Liverpool In the end the couple o ...
