Manchester City Wedding Photographer
Manchester City Wedding Photographer, Lock 91, Manchester
Here’s a throwback to this stunning and alternative wedding I shot as a Manchester City Wedding Photographer from last September (promptly reminding me of that painful parking ticket…..). If you’re one of the cool kids – like Luke & Cheryl here – you absolutely don’t need to spend a fortune to have an amazing wedding day. Considering there was a lot going on all around her, Cheryl took it all in her stride and kept on smiling. She looked absolutely freaking stunning in her vintage inspired wedding dress and Luke scrubbed up quite well, too! 😉
After all the hustle and bustle of getting ready and much fun with all the girls (and kids), we headed into town to the Register Office for their official bit before spending time shooting some gorgeous portraits right in the centre of Manchester. The wedding party had quite a bit of attention from mainly foreign tourists, including a mother & daughter duo who were on their way to a hen do carrying an actual blow-up doll through town….. From town we made our way (on foot!) to Lock 91 which is a former lock keeper’s cottage tucked away by the side of the canal. It’s a brilliant & fun reception venue and conveniently located on Castlefield Rocks – not far from a super stunning bridge. After some tasty food – freshly prepared on the barbie right in front of our eyes – the couple had no problem jumping into a taxi with us to Castlefield for some happy twirling and epic bridge shots. We then headed back to their friends & family who were having a blast sitting out on the terrace watching the world go by right next to the canal.
If you’re planning your celebrations in Manchester City Centre and are looking for a Manchester City Wedding Photographer – come say hi, I’d love to hear all about your exciting plans! x0x
