Luke and Lorna’s relaxed Cheshire Wedding

Luke and Lorna’s relaxed Cheshire Wedding

For Luke and Lorna’s relaxed wedding day I crossed the border and made my way from North Wales to Cheshire. The couple wanted a relaxed wedding with their nearest and dearest and decided on a hotel by the canal for their family-oriented wedding day in Cheshire.

They kept their decorations rustic and used jars with flowers on wooden slabs to decorate their tables. Lorna put brooches in the bouquets and on the cake. She decorated the cake table with heirloom family wedding pictures which I absolutely loved!

Relaxed Wedding Day in Cheshire

Oliver their son was the proud ring bearer and their cute little daughter Ava had the honour of being their flower girl. After an emotional ceremony, everyone made their way to the bar and it was time for speeches. Even Oliver had prepared a beautiful speech for his parents which brought tears to his mum’s eyes.

With the weather holding up, we all headed outside for the group shots. Lorna was a real trooper and walked with her beautiful dress across some pretty boggy grounds so as a reward I let them warm up inside for a little while, ha!

Once Lorna had swapped her heels for some pretty cool bridal trainers we headed back out for some beautiful portraits. Even though we weren’t blessed with an amazing sunset there was something quite epic about the sky above the port and I loved watching them interact while I set up some shots.

Once their evening guests had arrived we cut the cake and headed to the dancefloor for their first dance. What a beautiful day – thank you so much for having me along!
