Anglesey Wedding Photographer
Not your average Anglesey Wedding Photographer
My style is natural, relaxed and emotive and really lends itself to being an Anglesey Wedding Photographer. As a storytelling Wedding Photographer based in North Wales, spending time on Anglesey is always fun.
Storytelling Wedding Photography
When we first started talking about their wedding plans, both Andy & Amy got super excited when I suggested going to Anglesey for their pre-wedding shoot. Like most couples that book me as their Anglesey Wedding Photographer, Andy & Amy have a real passion for the great outdoors. We could have nipped to Snowdonia for their pre-wedding shoot. But as the couple first met on a canoe instructors’ course, going to Newborough Beach seemed a perfect choice.
North Wales Wedding Photographer
Newborough Beach on Anglesey is beautiful in all seasons. We met early on a beautiful summer’s evening at a time when most visitors to the beach had left and it seemed like we were the only ones around. We started their pre-wedding mini adventure with a walk through the forest and then headed to the beach. Have you ever experienced a sunset on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey? If not – it’s definitely something you should put on your bucket list!
Watching couples interact and getting to know them a little bit better before spending their wedding day with them is something I really enjoy. It was lovely to see the love Andy & Amy clearly share for one another. After a stroll through the forest, we made our way to the beach. The couple sat down on the dunes and watched the sun go down before taking a dip in the water. Taking pictures of a couple in the sea is definitely something I could easily get used to as Anglesey Wedding Photographer!
Some facts about Anglesey
Anglesey, or Ynys Môn in Welsh, is separated from the North Wales mainland by the Menai Strait. Its highest point is Holyhead Mountain at 219 metres above sea level. Church Bay is one of our personal favourites and we’ve spent quite a few wedding anniversaries having dinner at The Lobster Pot. It’s a little retro but occupying a beautiful spot not far from the coast with an abundance of coastal walks nearby.
South Stack is popular with landscape photographers and no matter what season you choose for your visit – St. Cwyfan’s Church (in the sea) always gets me with its rugged charm.
