Anglesey Wedding & Elopement Photography

Anglesey is a magical place! Being a wedding & elopement photographer based in North Wales – only an hour’s drive away from Anglesey – its super romantic spots like Llanddwyn Island, located at the far end of a pleasant beach near Newborough Warren, make it the perfect location for breathtakingly beautiful wedding and couple photography.

A lot of day and overnight trips to the island have given us a chance to fully explore the beauty this island has to offer. Rolling dunes and large rocks make it the perfect spot for a fun afternoon making memories and there are endless opportunities for your Anglesey Wedding & Elopement Photographer to create stunning couple and wedding portraits.

Anglesey is joined to the mainland by Thomas Telford’s glorious Menai Suspension Bridge and Robert Stephenson’s Britannia Bridge.

Wedding & Elopement Photography on Anglesey

If you are planning on getting married on this beautiful island, some of the best wedding venues are Chateau Rhianfa, an award-winning luxury hotel I’m looking forward to shooting at this summer, and Tre-Ysgawen Hall Country House, considered to be one of Wales’ finest country houses.

Thinking about doing things slightly differently? The Outbuildings offers a beautiful setting for a more intimate family or micro wedding on Anglesey. Head on over to my guide on how to elope anywhere in the UK to find out how you can elope in Anglesey if you are dreaming about getting married on a beautiful beach such as Church Bay.

Check out this beautiful church in the sea for the ultimate romantic wedding on Anglesey. The Grade II-listed medieval church in Llangadwaladr is located on the small tidal island of Cribinau and dates back from the 12th century. Please contact me for special rates for this location.

Anglesey is a dream for experienced outdoor-loving wedding photographers! I absolutely love to incorporate big beautiful landscapes into my wedding photography and shooting a couple on their wedding day at one of the UK’s most photographed landmarks, South Stack Lighthouse, is super high on my Anglesey Wedding & Elopement Photography bucket list

During the summer months, the island is home to barbeques, campers, and roaming children. It’s hard to beat the appeal of a camping holiday, especially along some of the stunning beaches.
