Tower Hill Barns Wedding Photographer
Wayne & Sian were looking for a Tower Hill Barns Wedding Photographer when they finally decided to tie the knot after 8 years together and I was over the moon when I found out that I was going to be their Tower Hill Barns Wedding Photographer. Both Sian & Wayne are pretty laid back and did not want their photographer to boss them about or ask them to *smile* all day long. We briefly met up a week before their wedding to go through their timeline and agreed to just roll with it on the day. And that’s exactly what we did.
Tower Hill Barns in Trevor just outside of Llangollen is literally 5 minutes down the road from my house. I had wanted to be a Tower Hill Barns Wedding Photographer for quite some time and luckily it did not disappoint one little bit. The setting is beautiful and although the early Spring weather was not the best for Sian and Wayne’s big day the Barn more than made up for it. I met up with Sian and her bridesmaids in the cottage to the rear of the barn and instantly knew that we were in for a fun day! The girls started sharing stories (and some Prosecco!) and it was lovely to spend some quality time with them all while watching them get ready. Like most brides, Sian was a little nervous about what lay ahead but we soon felt comfortable in each other’s company and it didn’t take Sian (or the girls) long to relax. Once ready, the bridal party walked across to the barn where the ceremony was set to take place in the oldest part of the venue.
It was a lovely surprise for Sian that one of her oldest friends is now an actual registrar so when she came into the room just before the ceremony to verify all of Sian’s details the surprise on Sian’s price was – well, priceless! Most brides are super nervous and will walk down the aisle as soon as they possibly can but Sian took it all in her stryde and made time to stop and say hello to some of their guests which was actually really nice to see. She soon met up with her new husband Wayne though who was waiting patiently at the other end of the aisle. Once they had said their vows and exchanged rings the wedding party made their way back to the barn for a few group and family shots before the rain set in and everybody sought shelter indoors. Wayne & Sian had decided to have the speeches before the meal (something I recommend to all of my couples; it just seems kinder to the best man to get the speeches over and done with so that he can relax rather than having to worry about it during the meal). The couple did not really want any posed portraits so after the meal and some time relaxing with their guests we went straight on the dance floor. Happy days!

Rather than gifts the couple had asked their guests to donate to Marie Curie (it’s also well worth taking a closer look at Sian’s gorgeous bouquet, cake decoration & name cards).
